Schwinn 420 Elliptical – Don’t Buy Until You Read This Review

This review is just a personal retelling of my good/bad experience that I had with the Schwinn 420 elliptical trainer. Today’s hectic and busy world dictates our daily routine to a great extent. While the work that I have is not physically challenging at all, but on a mental level it stresses me out. The old adage states that for an active mind and body, exercising daily in the morning is a must. Well, being a little lazy and a miser when it comes to money, I didn’t want to invest in a gym membership and therefore I decided that I needed a trainer that would give me a good workout in the morning.

Why I did buy Schwinn 420 Elliptical:

After reading some reviews, both good and bad about the Schwinn 420 elliptical trainer, I decided to buy it. I have no complaints with the transport company; they delivered the product on schedule and right to my room where I needed it. With all the paperwork complete I decided to finally get down to the hard part – assembling the entire thing. The instructions in the manual are clear enough to be understood. Some of the screws are not labeled properly but that’s no big issue, a glance at them is enough to tell you where they fit.

Schwinn 420 Elliptical – great value for money:

The Schwinn 420 elliptical trainer is noiseless in operation and a joy to work on. Its preset resistance levels are enough to give a good workout to just about anybody. Another good quality about this product is its great build quality and stability. Though I am a heavy person myself, the Schwinn 420 elliptical didn’t even budge when I exercised on it. A point to note is the even though all of the moving parts in this machine are pre-lubricated, it is best that you use a standard lubricant like WD40 regularly. After months of continuous use, the parts do tend to make slight squeaky noises. Though this can be attributed to normal wear and tear and is not a manufacturing defect.

The Schwinn 420 elliptical ships with a 5 year warranty on frame, 1 year on the electronics and 90 days overall, which is quite less when compared to some other similarly priced products which offer at least 10 years on the frame. Well, putting that aside, I would definitely recommend the Schwinn 420 elliptical to anybody who is looking for a noiseless trainer that is affordably priced.
